Hi, I'm Brie. I'm the CEO and creative director of TRU LUV, a studio making relaxing experiences for your phone together with artists and neuropsychologists. These experiences are not quite games and not quite apps. We call them companions. We think they are a key part of the future of interactivity

I spent 2016-17 traveling to consult with games studios, speak at art and games and tech events, and discuss interactive media with artists, psychologists, social entrepreneurs, game developers, and people who find video games boring. I have a column at I work with Game Girl Workshop and I mentor students in interactive media at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg

Previously I was a lead AI programmer at Ubisoft on the soft, ethereal game Child of Light and three Assassin's Creed games. I've worked with teams of up to 60 AI devs. If you've played Company of Heroes against the AI, you're playing against me and one of my colleagues.
